We have been learning about dinosaurs! Our teachers had a secret dinosaur in a bag and described what the dinosaur looked like with adjectives. We had to draw what we thought it might look like. It was a diplodocus.

We have been learning to draw on the computers.

Today we sorted toys into old and new which the children loved! Some children that they “preferred the old toys as they are new to us”.

When we came back from our Christmas break we noticed a strange circular mark on the grass so we went to go and have a look. The next day Mr Mack found CCTV footage of an alien landing at our school! The children have been very excited about this and enjoyed making predictions about who the alien might be, why he is at our school and what he wants.

For our longitudinal study in Science we will be observing our school field in each season to see what we notice about the similarities and differences between the seasons. We explored with our magnifying glasses, and found in Autumn, acorns, orange leaves on the floor, worms and much more!
